Dear Jazz Friends

I'm pleased to say that a lot of people have subscribed to my newsletter since the last issue. Greetings to new subscribers, and old!

This is a reminder that we have several concerts in beautiful, welcoming churches coming up. The lovely acoustic of these buildings makes performing (and listening!) a delight. Here are the dates:

Sat 26 March (this Saturday) Sunset Cafe at Hinton St George

Fri 8 April Cheap Street church Sherborne, "Ragtime meets Boogie". Mike shares the Steinway with Julian Phillips, one of the UK's top boogie woogie piano players

Sat 9 April Sunset Cafe at Beaminster

Thu 21 April Sunset Cafe at Martock

By the way, we're all aware that covid is still around. But churches have high ceilings, plenty of space and good ventilation!

I hope to see you at one or more of these events. Tickets will be available on the door, or you can contact the organisers (details are on the relevant website

www.mikedenham.co.uk or www.sunsetcafestompers.com).

PS If one of you is a keen photographer, and would like to help us with some good images for publicity, please get in touch with me.

Best wishes

Mike
